PRODUCER
KIRO-TV has an immediate opening for a creative, dynamic producer to join our news staff. This person must be able to take charge of a newscast, make strong news decisions, coordinate many live shots and handle breaking news like a pro. This producer must be flexible and be able to write strong copy for TV and the web, if necessary, coordinate with reporters and produce a newscast that is showcased.
DIRECTOR
KIRO-TV has an immediate opening for an experienced newscast director. Work closely with newscast producers, promotion producers and production staff on daily newscasts. Direct public affairs, special projects and local programming. Primary duties are directing newscasts. We have an Ignite Control Room – Ignite, Overdrive or other newscast automation software experience a plus, but we will train the successful candidate.
MORNING NEWS ANCHOR
KIRO-TV is looking for an experienced anchor for its morning newscasts. Research, write and present stories on-air. Candidates must have strong on-air presentation skills, communication skills, live reporting skills and be a good storyteller. Must be strong in covering and presenting breaking news.
